Club partners Marcus De launch the exclusive Leicester Tigers boot.
Tigers and Marcus De England have announced a partnership which includes the shoe brand producing exclusive footwear for the team and supporters.
Designed in London and worn all over the world. Marcus De re-interprets classics with a modern twist which are handcrafted in England and Italy.
The company was founded by Master Shoemaker Miguel de Almeida and is named in honour of his grandfather, the original Marcus de Almeida.
Their products are made using the highest-quality materials and all packaging, boxes, shoe bags and even laces are handmade in England using recycled materials.
Tigers players will be supplied with Marcus De boots as part of their official casual wear, with each boot inscribed with the individual player’s heritage number.
The heritage number is assigned to every player dating back to the club’s formation in 1880 by club historian Stuart Farmer according to their first senior appearance for Leicester Tigers.
If there are multiple debuts in the same game, the starting players are listed first, followed by replacements in the order they got on to the pitch. If two players make simultaneous debuts, numbers are assigned in alphabetical order by surname.
The Marcus De boot will be on display in the Tigers Club Shop from Monday, with orders taken online only, with or without the ‘1880’ inscription and bearing the new “TIGERS T” logo on the back.
