Leicester Tigers made the trip south to Twickenham in the penultimate round of this season's Gallagher Premiership to take on Harlequins under lights at The Stoop.

In a hard-fought battle with slippery conditions under foot, both sides traded blows throughout a physical 80 minutes of action for the jam-packed crowd in the capital.

George Ford's boot saw Tigers take a narrow lead in to the half-time break, despite losing three players to HIAs in the opening half an hour, but 'Quins wrestled their way back in to the lead in the second-half to lead with only minutes remaining.

However, thanks a clever duck and dive from Mike Fitzgerald on the back of two penalties seeing Leicester in key position for an attacking play in the final stages of the game, the New Zealand forward found his way over to score and ensure a vital losing bonus-point for Geordan Murphy's side in the battle for survival.
