Leicester Tigers travelled south west to take on long-time rivals Bath Rugby in Round 3 of this season's Premiership Cup and, despite being a man down for the final half an hour of the match, recorded an eleven-point victory at The Rec.

Two first half tries from the Tigers saw them take a 15-point lead in to the break.

An intercept from the home side on the scoreboard and behind by just eight points, which was soon followed by a red card for Tatafu Polota-Nau and meant the Tigers were a man down for the final half hour of the match.

However, a brave effort in defence across the pitch from the visiting Leicester squad proved enough to see them hold on before Tom Hardwick secured victory with a drop-goal in the final minute of the match.
