Leicester Tigers and Racing 92 meet for a third time in less than 12 months this Saturday in Round 5 of the European Champions Cup.

The Stade Yves-Du-Manoir in Paris is the venue for the penultimate round of fixtures in Pool 1 of Europe’s top club competition.

The teams met in the last four of the tournament last season, with Racing going through to the final against Saracens after a 19-16 victory despite a late try for Tigers by Telusa Veainu.

Tigers, though, did win the opening meeting of the teams this season in Round 2 this season with tries from Brendon O’Connor and Freddie Burns. Click here for all the details from that fixture.

Leicester travel in search of a first win in France since the trip to Montpellier in 2013/14.

After a narrow defeat at Wasps in his first game in charge last weekend, Tigers head coach Aaron Mauger said: “We have a big challenge because we have not performed well enough away from home in this competition.

“The boys have cracked on with their work, we put in a good week’s preparation last week and got a good performance at Wasps. The challenge for us is to get results out of those performances.”

Team line-ups were announced on Friday lunchtime, with Tigers welcoming Mathew Tait and Jack Roberts back into the squad after injury, though Owen Williams is ruled out with an elbow injury suffered in the second half of the match at Wasps.

Racing, who lost at home to Munster last weekend in their re-arranged fixture, include All Blacks trio Dan Carter, Joe Rokocoko and Casey Lualua in the backline.

Kick-off on Saturday is at 8:45pm local time, 7:45pm UK time, and there is live coverage on BT Sport.

Referee in Paris is Ben Whitehouse of Wales.

Tigers will wear the club’s traditional colours of red, white and green.
