Matchday bus services

Leicester Tigers, in conjunction with Arriva, are operating supporters' bus services from Market Harborough and Oakham for all home games, starting with the pre-season fixture against Lyon this Saturday (kick-off 2pm).

The Market Harborough service will start in the town square at 12.35pm, picking up in Church Road, Kibworth opposite the Coach and Horses at 12.50pm and High Street, Fleckney opposite the Old Crown at 1pm.

It will arrive at Welford Road at 1.30pm, dropping off in the bus stop lay-by next to Nelson Mandela Park.

The Oakham service leaves Northgate, Oakham, opposite the Wheatsheaf at 12.20pm, and will stop at North Street East bus stop in Uppingham at 12.40pm; the Rose and Crown in Houghton on the Hill at 1pm; the bus stop outside 913 Uppingham Road, Bushby at 1.03pm and St Joseph’s Church in Uppingham Road, Leicester at 1.06pm.

The service will arrive at Welford Road at 1.30pm and drop off in the bus stop layby next to Nelson Mandela Park.

Departure from Welford Road for the return journey will be 30 minutes after the final whistle.

Tickets cost just £5 return for adults and £4.00 for children and concessionary pass holders. Fans can pre-book in person at the Arriva travel shop in St Margaret's Bus Station, Leicester, by phoning 0116 242 3670 or emailing [email protected]

The services will run for every home game and follow a successful trial in the closing weeks of the 2010/11 campaign.

Supporters can ask their driver about pre-booking for the first game of the Aviva Premiership campaign, against Exeter Chiefs at Welford Road on Saturday, September 3 (kick-off 3pm).
