Matchday Cam | Tigers celebrate milestone match with win

An up close and personal look at the Gallagher Premiership game between Leicester Tigers and Exeter Chiefs at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.

In addition to the 43-point, 62-19, victory over Exeter in front of more than 21,000 fans, Leicester celebrated two major milestones in their playing ranks on Sunday afternoon.

Ben Youngs, who came off the bench in the second half, made his 300th appearance for the club.

Youngs became just the 37th player to reach a triple century in green, red and white, after the 36th earlier this season in Dan Cole.

In addition to the club milestone, Chris Ashton became the first player in Premiership rugby to score 100 tries in the competition.

Ashton crossed for a hat-trick in his return to action after seven weeks out through injury, and was denied another, to leave his current career total in the Premiership at 101.

The outside back announced earlier this week that this season would be his last, bringing an end to an 18-year career.

Watch this week's Matchday Cam above on LTTV for a unique look at the victory and exclusive insight into how the squad celebrated the milestones.
