Leicester Tigers host Wasps in the opening home game of the Premiership ‘A’ League this evening (Monday). Kick-off is at 7.00pm. Here’s our matchday guide to what’s in store at Welford Road.
The Final Whistle area in the Holland & Barrett Stand is open for food and refreshments from 5.30pm – ideal if you are travelling to Welford Road straight from work.
The Junior Tigers Club, with activities for young supporters, is open from 6.00pm in the Final Whistle.
All supporters will be accommodated in the Holland & Barrett Stand and turnstiles at both ends of the stand open at 6.00pm. Seating is unreserved and all season tickets will be able to operate the turnstiles in this stand.
Entry is free for season ticket holders and members, and season ticket holders will also be able to download a link on their email to source four tickets for friends and family. Entry for all other supporters is £5 adults, £1 juniors at the ticket office on the way to the game.
Team news will be announced on Monday afternoon.
Tigers opened the ‘A’ League season with nine tries in victory at Worcester Warriors but were then beaten on derby day at Northampton.
The Tigers club store in the Holland & Barrett Stand and ticket office in the Robin Hood Stand will be open up to kick-off at 7.00pm.
Copies of the match teamsheet, with a welcome from coach Brett Deacon, will be available.
