Matchday guide | European lunchtime with Tigers

Mattioli Woods Welford Road host a European Challenge Cup quarter-final on Saturday lunchtime as Leicester Tigers welcome Newcastle Falcons.

There will be no supporters in attendance due to the impact of Covid-19 but there is live coverage of the game on BT Sport 2.

Please note that the BT Match Pass service for season ticket holders covers home fixtures in the Gallagher Premiership only and is, therefore, not in operation for this game.

Although supporters can be at the game, we would still love to see your pictures of #TigersAtHome using Tigers Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts.

You can follow the updates from the action with the club’s Matchday Live service on the Tigers app and website. Make sure you’ve downloaded the most recent app update (Apple 2.11.0 or Android 36) to receive all of the latest news and info every day.

Kick-off is at 12.30pm.

Team news is announced at noon on Friday and there will be build-up throughout the day and on Saturday morning, with full reaction afterwards on the Tigers website and social media pages.

A link to the online edition of the match programme is distributed to season ticket holders on Friday, with the issue then loaded on to the website on matchday morning. All of the online editions are available free on the website if you’ve missed any.

This week’s pages include information on how you can help the club celebrate a special European rugby anniversary this season, plus a full rundown on opponents Falcons and the Challenge Cup, a chat with Guy Porter on his “whirlwind” experience since arriving at the club and all the facts and stats behind the Tigers.
