Matchday guide: Tigers versus Harlequins

There is a full afternoon of top-class rugby lined up for Welford Road on Sunday, beginning with Leicester Tigers versus Harlequins in Round 2 of the Aviva Premiership season.As well as the big game between two sides who opened their campaign non a winning note last weekend, Tigers will also host a Women’s Premiership fixture for the first time as Lichfield ladies face Wasps Ladies and there will be live coverage on TVs and big screen in the Final Whistle of the World Cup semi-final between Argentina and Australia.   Tigers kick-off is at 2pm, World Cup semi-final at 4pm and Women’s Premiership match at 4.15pm.   Admission on Sunday is included in Tigers season tickets. All season ticket holders have been sent new cards for the new season which must be used this weekend. If you have not received a new card or have any issues, please contact the ticket office by phoning 0116 319 8888 (option 2) ahead of the game. The office is open 8.30am-5.00pm Friday and Saturday, and from 9am Sunday.   For all other supporters, match tickets are available now. Purchase in person at the Tigers Club Store at Welford Road or phone 0116 319 8888 (option 2) (9am-5pm Friday and Saturday and from 9am on matchday) or book online at the Tigers ticket office by clicking here.   Both teams will welcome back players form the World Cup this weekend. Team announcements are at noon on Friday on the club website and social media.   The Ticket office on matchdays is based on the plaza outside the MET-Rx Stand.   There is a separate Ticket Collection point on the plaza for all pre-ordered tickets.   Turnstiles, all bars and food kiosks, plus the Junior Tigers Club area in Final Whistle, all open at noon.   If this is your first visit of the season, please note that all bars now use returnable glasses. Click here for more information.   The Junior Tigers Club is open for two hours ahead of kick-off, with activities for young supporters, including a pre-match visit from a Tigers player and the chance to become a Tigers matchday mascot or Tiger Cub and join Welford on the pitch in the build-up to kick-off. You can sign up any supporter under the age of 16 at a home game or online now. Click here for details.   The Tigers roadshow vehicle, known as The Maul, will be on the plaza for supporters to try the Speed Pass Challenge and the photo booth.   The Tigers Club Store is open from 9am right through until an hour after the final whistle, stocking a wide range of Tigers replica kit, leisurewear and souvenirs as well as official Rugby World Cup 2015 merchandise.   Please allow extra travelling time for Sunday’s game if your route is affected by road closures and diversions around the Leicester Marathon. Note that the T6 service from Melton Mowbray is scheduled to pick up an extra 15 minutes earlier due to diversions in place for the Leicester Marathon.
