Hampson cut the ribbon on the day-long event which provides an opportunity to find out about information, services, products, ideas and innovation for disabled people, older people and carers in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Exhibitors are covering accommodation, domestic support and education and training as well as transport, personal support and work and voluntary support.
The event, which is hosted by the Regional Equality and Diversity Partnership, runs until 7pm on Thursday. Admission is free and thousands of people are expected to attend through the day.
