Jonny May is the Lumbers Player of the Month for September.
Leicester Tigers and England winger May won the supporter vote ahead of teammates Sione Kalamafoni and Nick Malouf.
He was announced as the winner during half-time of Saturday’s Champions Cup game against Castres Olympique at Welford Road.
May has started his Tigers career with a bang since his summer move to Welford Road. He has scored nine tries in his first eight games and underlined his form with another two tries in Saturday's bonus-point win against Castres Olympique in the Champions Cup.
He is the second winner of the Lumbers Player of the Month award, and follows August’s winner Harry Wells.
Supported by High Street jewellers Lumbers and voted for by Tigers supporters, the Player of the Month award recognises the contributions of individual players to the team cause throughout the campaign.
Keep an eye out on the club website and social media channels for the nominees and voting details for October’s award soon.
