Rory Underwood, Ian ‘Dosser’ Smith, and brothers Brett and Louis Deacon are among the latest names added to the guest list for the 125 Year Dinner at Welford Road on March 6.

England’s all-time try scorer, Underwood lit up the wing with his pace and finishing power, scoring 134 tries in 236 appearances for Tigers as well as becoming one of the biggest names on the international stage. He is now a director on the board at the club.

‘Dosser’ Smith made 331 appearances for his hometown club as well as enjoying a successful coaching career and is now a Life member of Tigers where his son Matt continues the family’s links with the first-team squad.

Local lads Brett and Louis Deacon broke into the Tigers team in the early 2000s and became a valued part of the forward pack. Brett played in two spells before joining the coaching staff while Louis is still a frequent visitor in his work with the Matt Hampson Foundation.

The quartet join a star-studded list of former players for an evening looking back at the 125 year history of Welford Road.
