A fresh batch of tickets has been put on general sale for the Heineken Cup quarter-final encounter between Tigers and Stade Francais.

The French club have returned a sizeable proportion of their ticket allocation for the game at Welford Road on Sunday, April 1, and these are now available on general sale through the Tigers ticket office.

The game is just over two weeks away and Tigers are aiming to have a capacity crowd getting right behind the team for the biggest home game of the season.

Tigers and Stade have crossed swords before in the Heineken Cup - and they have have served up some classic encounters over the years, with Tigers winning the trophy for the first time with a late score in Paris in 2001, and also over-turning a deficit with two late scores to win the home match in the pool stages of European competition last season.

The prize for the winners this time is a semi-final in their home country against either Llanelli Scarlets or the defending European champions Munster.

Stade currently lead the Top 14 in France, while Tigers sit equally proudly on top of the Guinness Prmeiership, giving their cup clash an even bigger profile.

If you have not got a ticket yet, they can be purchased in person from the Welford Road ticket office, by calling 08701 28 34 30 or by going online at the club website www.leicestertigers.com

Tickets start from as little as £10 for juniors and £23 for adults. There is no restriction on the number of tickets available to each supporter, subject to availability.
