Logovi’i Mulipola has been named in the Samoa squad for their upcoming Pacific Nations Cup and Rugby World Cup qualifying fixtures.
Leicester Tigers prop Mulipola is picked for the first time since 2016 in what is his final season at Welford Road before his moves to Newcastle Falcons.
Mulipola could face his Tigers team-mate Valentino Mapapalangi when Samoa play Tonga in the Fiji capital Suva in their second pool fixture on Saturday, June 16.
Samoa kick-off their campaign against Fiji in Suva on Saturday, June 9, while Tonga take on Georgia on the same day in their opener. Click here for the Tonga squad.
Samoa also take on the winners of Germany and Portugal, who meet on June 16, in home and away World Cup qualifying fixtures in June and July. They begin on June 30.
