The Samoa Rugby Union has confirmed the withdrawal of Leicester Tigers prop Logovi'i Mulipola from their Rugby World Cup squad due to injury.Census Johnston, who plays for French club Toulouse, has been called into the squad as a late replacement.
Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill said: "Logo is recovering well but he is not ready to play at the start of the World Cup and obviously Samoa need players that are ready."
There are eight players on World Cup duty from Tigers: Dan Cole, Ben Youngs and Tom Youngs with England, plus Marcos Ayerza (Argentina), Vereniki Goneva (Fiji), Leonardo Ghiraldini and Michele Rizzo (Italy) and Opeti Fonua (Tonga).
