Leicester Tigers captain Murphy, who played the full 80 minutes, touched down in the second half in front of 3,168 spectators as Ireland continued their warm-up for the World Cup.
The Ireland Select XV led 14-3 at half-time through tries by Mick O’Driscoll and former Tigers lock Leo Cullen.
Tigers full-back Murphy scored the first try of the second half before further scores for Fergus McFadden, Ian Keatley and Denis Hurley.
Ireland head coach Declan Kidney will announce Ireland’s World Cup squad on Monday.
