An update of the Leicester Tigers History Book is available to pre-order now. The first 1,000 pre-orders are exclusively available in hardback for just £30.

PRE-ORDER BEFORE OCTOBER 20 TO HAVE YOUR NAME INCLUDED WITHIN THE SUBSCRIBERS SECTION OF THE PRINTED COPY. PRE-ORDERS WILL CLOSE ON THIS DATE.

First published in 2014 and compiled by Club Historian Stuart Farmer and decorated rugby journalist David Hands, the 528-page book chronicled the 134 years, successes and stories of Leicester Tigers from 1880 - 2014.

Included within was full career details of every player to have played for the first team, as well as biographical sections on all 209 players to have been awarded a club cap for a century of starting appearances for Leicester Tigers, as well as results, scores and line-ups for every first team fixture over the years of the club's existence.

Now, a decade on, Farmer - with the assistance of Gary Sherrard and Stanley Buckley - has put the past 10 years of Leicester Tigers history down on the page with detailed statistical insight and superb photography to accompany the outlines of each season up until the start of the current campaign under Michael Cheika.

The book also looks back on the emergence of the women's programme at the club and journey from exhibition side into the Championship and now as part of Premiership Women's Rugby.

The comprehensive Encyclopaedia section has been completely revised, revamped, updated and enhanced with new imagery. The eleven additions to the 100-cap club are given an in-depth profile and the index of all 2,419 men and 67 women known to have represented Leicester Tigers first teams in competitive fixtures are reproduced containing, for the first time, their chronological heritage number.

Published by Leicester Football Club itself and supported by the Rugby Development Foundation, all proceeds from the sale of the book will be reinvested into the development of the next generation, in the Leicester Tigers Academy, hoping to one day write their own history for the club.

Exclusively available to pre-order online for just £30 (first 1,000 in hardback), the update to the Leicester Tigers History Book is the perfect addition to any supporter or history-lover's coffee tables or bookshelves.
