Leicester Tigers back-rower Craig Newby has been cited for a dangerous tackle on Bath Rugby fly-half Butch James during the Guinness Premiership semi-final at Welford Road.
He has been summoned to appear before an RFU disciplinary panel comprising of Jeremy Summers (chairman), Philip Evans and Bob Taylor at the London Bloomsbury Holiday Inn, Coram Street on Tuesday, May 25 (6pm).
The citing follows a report from the independent citing commissioner Peter Larter.
