The citing against Craig Newby of Leicester Tigers for a dangerous tackle on Bath Rugby's Butch James during the Guinness Premiership semi-final at Welford Road on May 16 has been dismissed.
An RFU disciplinary panel of Jeremy Summers (chair), Philip Evans and Bob Taylor decided that no foul play had occurred and Newby is free to play in Saturday's Guinness Premiership Final.
