Ed Slater was also impressive in defence, making 12 tackles, the most by a Tigers player in the game, and effecting three turnovers, the second highest across Round 8.

Adam Thompstone, the Lumbers Player of the Month, won two turnovers on his 100th appearance for the club.

In attack, Mathew Tait made 47 metres in 12 carries, the most by a Tigers player in the game. Only Telusa Veainu (367m) and Peter Betham (355m) in the Tigers squad have made more metres in the Aviva Premiership this season than Tait ((338m).
