Organisers confirm Euro kick-off and TV details

Tournament organisers EPCR have confirmed that Leicester Tigers will host Connacht Rugby in an evening kick-off on Saturday, April 3 in the European Challenge Cup Round of 16.

Tigers have been given a home draw after winning the opening two games in the preliminary stage before the format of the tournament was revised, while Irish province Connacht moved into the Challenge Cup after playing in the pool stage of the Heineken Champions Cup.

The game at Mattioli Woods Welford Road, which remains closed to supporters, will be shown live by BT Sport.

BT Sport will broadcast all Round of 16 fixtures live, beginning with the match between Zebre and Bath on Good Friday.

Matches involving Welsh clubs will be broadcast live on S4C as well as on BT Sport, including the game between Ospreys and Newcastle Falcons at the Liberty Stadium which will determine the quarter-final opposition for Tigers or Connacht.

The quarter-finals will be played on the weekend of April 9/10/11, with exact dates and kick-off times to be announced as soon as practicable.
