Young players on the Tigers Rugby Camp at Spalding RFC next week will be able to pick up tips from Leicester Tigers, England and British & Irish Lions lock Geoff Parling.

Parling will visit the week-long camp to take part in a question and answer session and to pass on his advice to the next generation of rugby players.

Young players on Tigers Rugby Camps receive top-class coaching from Tigers coaches, including former England hooker George Chuter and ex-All Black Craig Newby as well as former Tigers players Ian ‘Dosser’ Smith, Glenn Gelderbloom and Troy Thacker.

Players also receive a Tigers rugby ball and drinks bottle, free membership to the Junior Tigers Club, a free junior ticket to an allocated home game and a hot lunch and drinks for full-day camp participants.

The camp at Spalding RFC offers tag rugby coaching for U7s and U8 running for three half days from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Monday to Wednesday (October 27-29), and contact rugby coaching for U9s onwards running for five full-days from 9.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday (October 27-31).

Tigers club captain Ed Slater will visit the first-ever Tigers Rugby Camp staged at Worksop College in Nottinghamshire for a Q&A.

The camp runs from Monday to Wednesday and includes three half-days of tag rugby training for U7s and U8s and three full days of contact training for U9s onwards.

Places are available at both venues. Book now via the ticket office on 0116 319 8888 (option 2) or online by clicking here.
