Leicester Tigers players gained an insight into sports broadcasting when they spent a day behind-the-scenes at Sky Sports News.
George Catchpole, Will Evans, Joe Maksymiw and George Worth visited the Sky Sports News studios in London as part of the RPA’s Personal Development Programme.
They were joined by members of the Northampton Saints squad for the day.
Maksymiw said: “We got an insight behind the scenes and saw the live operation at Sky Sports News, which was really interesting.
“It was a good experience to see things outside of rugby and the other side of the media, and a good opportunity to grow our knowledge about other industries.”
Worth added: “It was very interesting to see how it all ticks.
“The RPA try to raise awareness and to get you thinking about life after rugby. Careers don’t last forever and can be cut short, so they are trying to get us thinking about life after.”
