A team of players from Leicester Tigers made it a hat-trick of titles at the Try Tuesdays Pub Quiz at Welford Road this week.Jamie Gibson followed in the footsteps of Jordan Crane and George Chuter in captaining the players' team to victory in a quiz night which attracted more than 400 entries.
Gibson was joined by Anthony Allen, Blaine Scully, Niall Morris, Neil Briggs, Tommy Bell, Adam Thompstone, Miles Benjamin, Greg Peterson and Jack Whetton in a Tigers team who led from the first round.
The Pub Quiz, sponsored by Everards, was hosted in the Final Whistle at Welford Road featured five rounds of questions on general knowledge, Best of British, music, a picture round and finally a round named All Things Tigers.
A raffle in aid of the Joe Humphries Memorial Trust, a club charity in 2014/15, was very well supported on the evening.
Thank you to everyone who took part on a very enjoyable evening, and to all those who supported the Joe Humphries Memorial Trust fund-raising.
The next major Try Tuesdays event is the DX Awards Night on April 28. This evening in the company of the whole Tigers squad includes three-course meal with a player at your table, the chance to vote for the DX Try of the Season and even the opportunity to present one of the awards.
