Tatafu Polota-Nau’s red card from last Saturday’s game at Bath will dealt with by an independent disciplinary panel this evening (Tuesday).
The Leicester Tigers hooker has been charged with dangerous tackling, contrary to Law 9.13, after being red-carded for a tackle on Bath scrum-half Will Chudley during the second half of the Premiership Rugby Cup win at The Recreation Ground.
The Panel will be chaired by Richard Whittam QC and the case will be dealt with on papers by agreement with the club.
