Polota-Nau out of Wallabies Test

Tatafu Polota-Nau has been ruled out of the Australia line-up for Saturday’s Test against South Africa.

The Leicester Tigers hooker, who has 86 caps, was named in the starting team this week but has withdrawn with a hamstring injury.

Rugby Australia say Polota-Nau had been "managed" through training in Port Elizabeth this week but a decision on facing the Springboks was taken after a fitness test on Friday.

Folau Faingaa will instead come into the team for his first Test start, with Brandon Paenga-Amosa coming on to the bench.

Wallabies coach Michael Cheika includes Tigers centre Matt Toomua in midfield for his 38th Test appearance.
