Will Spencer speaks to LTTV following the eleven-point, 24-13 loss to Saracens at Allianz Park in Round 13 of the 2019/20 Gallagher Premiership season.

The Tigers lock, who shared the fans vote for LeoVegas Fans' Favourite with Telusa Veainu following a dominant performance in leading the Leicester pack, admitted that while the mood was one of disappointment following defeat, the squad felt that they had again shown improvement as they continue to build. 

Missing more than a dozen senior members of the squad, including a handful away on international duty at the Guinness Six Nations, the Tigers trailed by just one at the half-time break before wrestling their way into the lead during the second half.

However, a fast finishing Saracens side - with internationally capped players to use from their replacements bench - came from behind to record victory over the Tigers in the closing stages of the match.
