Premiership Rugby’s development competition returns to Welford Road this season with Leicester Tigers hosting three of their five home games at the iconic stadium.
Tigers opened their campaign with a trip to Gloucester this week and also go to Sale before hosting a local derby fixture in the Premiership Rugby Shield against Northampton on the Monday before Christmas.
The move back to Welford Road comes after feedback from season ticket holders and the Supporters' Forum to host more Shield matches at the ground.
The club will also take two home fixtures ‘on the road’ to other clubs in the region, beginning with a second derby, against Wasps, at Leicester Lions’ TMDP Park on Lutterworth Road on Monday, December 30. The home game against Sale Jets will be staged at Newark RUFC on March 23.
All home fixtures are confirmed as 7.30pm kick-offs. See the full Premiership Rugby Shield fixtures for the 2019/20 season below.
