Leicester Tigers are proud to get behind Restart Rugby Weekend (April 13 – 15) to help raise vital funds and awareness for Restart Rugby – the charity which supports professional players suffering from serious injury, illness or hardship.

layers give their all for club and country but their lives and careers can change in a split second. When things go wrong, Restart Rugby is there to provide players and their families with financial, practical and emotional support during difficult times, including help with medical treatment, rehabilitation, counselling and career transition.

Harry Wells, RPA player representative for Tigers, said: “We give everything for our clubs and the game. Restart Rugby is there should the worst happen. Join us and show your support.”

The Aviva Premiership clubs are aiming to raise £10,000 to help players when they need Restart Rugby most.

They include Leicester Tigers prop Matt Hampson, who the charity supported throughout the 18 months he spent at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and on his return home, helping with medical costs and rehabilitation facilities.

To get involved check out the Restart Rugby Weekend online auction site and bid on signed Tigers and England memorabilia.
