Lutterworth Rugby Club hosts the second festival in this season’s Prima Tiger Cup on Sunday.

Supported by Prima Solutions of Loughborough, the Prima Tiger Cup is a free-to-enter contact-based fun event open to all clubs at under-10 level (RFU defined).

The event takes place over four festivals covering the Tigers academy region and beyond where organisers will look to identify clubs who demonstrate the true ethos of the game under our event criteria in keeping with the RFU Age Grade Rules and guidelines.

This weekend’s clubs are from Ashby, Ashfield, Hinckley, Kenilworth, Leicester Lions, Market Bosworth, Market Harborough, Oakham, Old Laurentians, Peterborough Lions, Shipston, St Neots, Stamford, Stoneygate, Woodbridge and two teams from hosts Lutterworth. We wish them all the best of luck and hope all of the players, coaches and supporters have an enjoyable day with the Tigers.

Selected clubs from the festivals will be invited to participate in a series of games at Welford Road stadium, providing a fantastic experience to young and aspiring players.

Attracting more than 70 entries each season, the Prima Tiger Cup is the largest and most prestigious single age-group playing opportunity in the rugby calendar.

This season’s other festival are at Tamworth RFC on October 22 and Mellish RFC a week later.
