The Prima Tiger Cup is now into its 16th year and entries are open to all under-10s teams.
The tournament features four festivals around the Tigers region, followed by the knockout stages played at Welford Road before a first-team game at the biggest dedicated club rugby stadium in the UK.
Last year was one of the best years so far with Birmingham-based Old Silhillians taking the title in a hard-fought battle against Market Harborough.
Who will join the role of honour this year?
The festivals are great fun in their own right, with teams coming from all over the country to compete against each other. Even if you don’t win through to the quarter-finals, you’re sure to meet teams and players who don’t normally feature in your seasonal fixtures. Friendships and contacts are made and the clubs form new relationships and find new venues to tour as a result. For instance, Jersey Rugby Academy are regular entrants and several Leicestershire clubs are looking to tour there in the near future.

November 14: Stafford RFC (Staffordshire, North Midlands & surrounds)
