The Prima Tiger Cup 2016/17 season kicks off at the opening festival at Diss RFC on Sunday.
Supported by Prima Solutions of Loughborough, the Prima Tiger Cup is a free-to-enter contact-based fun event open to all clubs at under-10s level (RFU defined).
The event takes part over four festivals covering the Tigers Academy Region and beyond.
Throughout these festivals the Tigers will be looking to identify clubs who demonstrate the true ethos of the game under our event criteria in keeping with the RFU Age Grade Rules and guidelines.
This weekend teams representing Beccles, Holt, Newmarket, North Walsham, Southwold, Sudbury, Swaffham, Wymondham and hosts Diss will take part in the first festival.
Selected clubs from the festivals will be invited to participate in a series of games to be held at a later date at Tigers’ famous Welford Road stadium, providing a fantastic experience to young and aspiring players.
Attracting more than 70 entries each season, the Prima Tiger Cup is the largest and most prestigious single-age playing opportunity in the rugby calendar.
