The Prima Tiger Cup 2015/16 for under-10s teams kicked off in the opening festival in Tamworth on Sunday.Supported by Prima Solutions of Loughborough, the Prima Tiger Cup is a free-to-enter tournament for under-10s teams and the opening festival attracted 12 teams.   Teams representing Ashby, Atherstone, Hinckley, Lichfield, Moseley, Nuneaton, Sandbach, Shrewsbury, Silhillians, Sutton Coldfield, Worthing and host club Tamworth were divided into two pools and provided some entertaining and tight games for their supportetrs in the opening festival of the season.   Moseley and Silhillians will return for the Prima Tiger Cup later stages at Welford Road on the same day as a Tigers first-team game, while Lichfield and Sandbach will play in the Prima Tiger Bowl and Shield at the famous stadium.   The Prima tournament features five qualifying festivals around the Tigers region with the second event scheduled for this Sunday (October 25) at Swaffham RFC. The remaining festivals are based at Lutterworth RFC, Mellish RFC and Newmarket RFC.
