Crane was joined in the starting line-up by Tigers team-mates George Chuter, Ollie Smith and Richard Blaze.Bath wing Matt Banahan celebrated his debut by scoring a hat-trick as the Saxons claimed nine tries. George Skivington, Anthony Allen, Tom Biggs, Ugo Monye and Ben Foden were the other scorers, with England claiming a penalty try and Ryan Lamb adding a penalty and eight conversions in sweltering conditions.
Saxons coach Steve Bates said: "The USA fought very hard for the first 20 minutes or so and it took us a little bit of time to settle. There's still plenty to work on but I'm very pleased with the overall performance.
"I thought George Chuter had a fantastic game, Jordan Crane did well too. Paul Hodgson at scrum-half was outstanding and Matt Banahan scored a hat trick, so it was a good day all round."
Tigers No8 Crane, who played for the victorious Saxons team in last year's tournament and also captained the team to victory over Ireland A in February, said: "We'd been talking about offloading and playing that game all week and the boys did it well.
"We've got a lot of skill in the team and I think that showed. The heat made it difficult, we're not used to playing in those temperatures, but we managed to put some good phases together and scored some great tries.
"Ryan Lamb is a quality 10 and there were quality boys outside to make the most of our go-forward ball.
"The forwards did well in keeping the ball alive and getting over the gain line and we made it hard for the USA to relieve the pressure."
Ben Youngs was used as a second-half replacement as England Under-20s got their Junior World Championship campaign off on the right foot with a 41-17 victory over Fiji on Friday.
Geordan Murphy also came off the bench in the closing stages as Ireland lost 21-11 to New Zealand in Wellington on Saturday. The Irish now move on to face Australia.
Tigers prop Marcos Ayerza gained his 16th cap for Argentina as he started their 21-15 win over Scotland in Rosario.
