Freddie Steward, like his Head Coach Michael Cheika, spoke about the Leicester Tigers supporters after the come from behind win over Sale Sharks.
Speaking on the pitch after the game, the full-back was asked about the result and ignored the on-field effort, immediately making mention of the crowd and thanking them for their part in the memorable victory.
"This atmosphere is incredible, it is just awesome. Our supporters were enormous for us tonight, I just want to say thank you to them all," Steward said.
"Listen to this, everybody who has turned up has been so loud and it means so much, it helped us so much out here tonight."
Steward was off the field at the end of the game and back in the changing rooms, meaning he missed the final try and and full time whistle. But, despite being off the pitch, was under no illusion as to the result.
"I was underneath at the end and knew we won because of the way the place erupted above me in the changing room, it just went off, and it was so awesome to come back down those steps in the middle of at the end," he said.
"This place is like nowhere else when it's rocking and hopefully it's even more full for the next home game, because that will be just crazy."
Finally responding to questions on the performance, Steward said: "It was an enormous shift from the lads, to come back after half time, and get the win."
"We just had to stick together and do what we knew we could, fight for everything and we did it, we got the win."
The victory, a third straight in the league, means Steward and his team mates head into the final two rounds of the season in second place on the Gallagher Premiership ladder. However, only the next 80 minutes is what he and his clubmates have on their mind.
"We'll enjoy it tonight together and then it's on to Bath next week, on to the next game, because that's all that matters. The next game is the only game we are focused on."
