The buildings that formed the Clubhouse Stand at Welford Road have been demolished as the first part of the redevelopment of the west end of the stadium comes to an end.Over the last 10 days, contractors have been bringing down the structures with the last of the buildings, which housed the European Suite and the previous club store, demolished this afternoon (Thursday).   Tigers have put together a short video of the demolition works, which is available to watch on LTTV by clicking here.   The rubble will be taken away before work can begin on the construction of the new stand. Tigers are working closely with architects AFL and contractors Buckingham on the development, which will feature 3,000 seats including a premium season ticket lounge known as The Clubhouse, plus club offices and public concourse. It will take stadium capacity to 26,000.   Season tickets in all areas of the stadium, including the new stand, are available for 2015/16 now. There are bronze, silver and gold seats in the new stand, plus a limited number of Tiger Seats available at the same rate as terrace season tickets.
