Tommy Reffell will lead out Wales for their U20s Six Nations game against England on Friday (kick-off 7.45pm.)

It means that the captains for both teams will be provided by Leicester Tigers after Reffell’s club colleague Ben White was named as the England skipper for the game. Click here for details.

Back-rower Reffell captained Wales to 36-3 victory over Scotland at Colwyn Bay in their opening game of the championship.

It was Reffell’s debut at U20s level, and he said: “I thought it was a really pleasing start from the boys. We knew Scotland were going to come down here with some firepower, especially in the backs, and it was good to see us getting up off the line and in to their faces.

“Through the boys resilience we stuck it out to the end and managed to put points on them.”

Head coach Jason Strange added: “We need to keep improving after a good opening game against Scotland, because England always pose one of the biggest challenges at any age grade.

“It should make for a fascinating game. The synthetic pitch at Kingston Park is conducive to running rugby – something both teams will be looking to produce.”
