Over 30 teams signed up to participate and a number of Leicester Tigers made an appearance after England team manager and Leicester legend Martin Johnson got things under way.
Teams such as Tigers Extras and a team from the Tigers Club Shop are among those walking laps of the Welford Road pitch for 24 hours as they attempt to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK.
The walkers will also be accompanied by live entertainment, including music from Lancaster Boys Choir and Adam Thomas.
Tigers players will also be stopping by to show their support and offer question-and-advice sessions and kicking clinics for participants.
Parking will be available on site (subject to availability) and the Tiger Bar will be open for soft drinks and alcoholic refreshements.
If you would like to spend part of your Bank Holiday weekend supporting a good cause, then please pop down to Welford Road, whatever the weather!
