Leicester Tigers completed an Academy Under-18 League double with victory away to Sale Sharks on Friday afternoon.
After opening the league season with a home win over Northampton Saints last week, Tigers scored nine tries in a 61-12 victory in Round 2 at Heywood Road.
A score from hooker Harry Clarke gave the visitors an early lead, converted by Harry Simpson, and Tigers doubled the advantage with a converted score from scrum-half Nicholas Gali.
Back-rower Phelton Tandoh scored a double either side of a try from Sharks scrum-half Dom Hanson as Tigers led 28-5 approaching the half-hour.
Second-rower Jos Gilmore got over for a second Sharks score as they trailed 28-12 at half-time.
Tyler Russell added a fifth for Tigers at the start of the second half, with Simpson adding the conversion before Clarke completed a hat-trick with tries in the 50th and 55th minutes.
Then, after a penalty try took Tigers beyond 50 points, replacement Ralphie Willott added a final score, again converted by Simpson.
The league season resumes in the New Year with a Round 3 fixture against Newcastle Falcons.
