Work is scheduled for the west end of Upperton Road and its junction with Narborough Road and Walnut Street between Eastern Boulevard and Buttermere Street.
Work on the west of Upperton Road and on Walnut Street started last Sunday.
Narborough Road will be closed from 8pm on Friday (February 20) until midnight on Sunday (February 22) and again the following weekend from 8pm on Friday, February 27 to midnight on Sunday, March 1 to allow resurfacing work at the junction with Upperton Road to be completed.
The work on Walnut Street will take place on the weekend of March 13/15 when there are no rugby or football fixtures.
The work is necessary in order to address the deterioration in the road surface in the Upperton Road area.
The main north, south, east, and west diversions will be in place for those who normally use Upperton Road and Walnut Street. Local diversions will also be in place around the works. Parking and waiting restrictions will be in force on the diversion routes.
Motorists, residents and businesses are asked to be patient while this work takes place. Please allow some extra time for your journey to and from the stadium.
