The Leicester Tigers loyalty scheme known as ROARwards has welcomed its 10,000th member since its launch a year ago.
With a ROARwards account, supporters can collect points for engaging with the club as well as when purchasing tickets, season tickets, memberships or merchandise. You can also collect points by spending with thousands of brands you already use.
Points care also earned from attending matches and engaging on the Tigers website or ROAR newsletter.
“I’m happy to recommend Tigers ROARwards to everyone I know.
“I wasn’t sure what to expect and joined up thinking it would be a novelty just to earn a couple of pounds to use in the Tigers Shop. But, as it turns out, it’s become something I use relentlessly. Having the ability to purchase as you normally would - the choice of purchase partners is huge - meant it didn’t take long to start earning money which I’ve used to help reduce the cost of my season ticket… not something I’ll ever complain about. Please don’t ever stop running this service.”
Chris Rose, Chief Marketing and Operations Officer at Tigers, said: “The ROARwards programme is proving very popular as a way of engaging and saving with the club while collecting points for your everyday purchases with so many other brands.
“Once you have opened an account, it is easy to keep building points which can be used against tickets, events and shop purchases, and you can see from the feedback that it is a programme our supporters want to use. Those that have credit from the 2019/20 and 2020/21 season can still sign up and use their funds too. ”
As part of ROARwards, there are regular draws for Tigers prizes, with recent items including a signed shirt, matchday hospitality and £50 credit.
The programme is run in conjunction with R4 who marketing manager Arnes Pobric said: “It’s absolutely incredible to be working with Leicester Tigers and already have 10,000 members signed up to the Tigers ROARwards programme.
“The member feedback has been phenomenal with thousands of fans now collecting points with the club and shopping online with more than 4,000 brands to save money on their Tigers season ticket, match tickets and club merchandise. The Tigers ROARwards programme will help all fans save money on their next club purchase.”
