Warm up for the opening game of the season against Bath Rugby by joining Leicester Tigers Foundation at this year’s Leicester 10k run.
With less than a month to go until the Aviva Premiership campaign action kicks off at Welford Road, the countdown is also on for the inaugural Asda Foundation Leicester 10K.
Members of the Tigers Fit Fans programme will be taking part, and you can join them. But be quick as there are only a handful of spaces left on the Tigers Foundation team.
The run will be started by Tigers legend Rory Underwood. It begins at 9am at Abbey Park on Sunday, September 3.
The run marks the start of a busy day.
Tigers in the Park, Tigers’ FREE family fun day, starts at 11am on Nelson Mandela Park and runs until 2.30pm, when the rugby action will take centre stage with Leicester and Bath kicking off at 3pm.
Fans who volunteer to run for the Foundation are asked to aim to raise at least £250. In return, runners will receive:
· A Tigers Foundation running space
· A Tigers Foundation Run For All T-shirt
· A pair of tickets to an allocated Tigers home game during the 2017/18 season and a photo to be taken during the matchday
Runners of all abilities are welcome. Entrants must be aged 15 years or over on the event day.
For more information or to get involved, contact Jess Hilder by emailing [email protected] or phoning 0116 217 1343.
And fans who want to volunteer at the event are also asked to contact Jess.
