Safety wristbands for young supporters

Leicester Tigers are introducing emergency contact wristbands for young supporters at Welford Road this season.

Supporters can use the wristbands to write their contact details and seat number to assist in the event of any young supporters being separated from family groups at a match.

The wristbands will be available at the Junior Tigers Club and at turnstiles around the stadium.

A spokesman said: “Tigers matchdays are big occasions for supporters of all ages and we welcome large numbers of families and groups with young supporters. We hope that using the new wristbands will provide an extra safeguard and added confidence for any parent, guardian or carer, as well as for their youngsters visiting the stadium.”

The Junior Tigers Club, sponsored by The Nottingham Building Society and retailers next, is open to young supporters, organising activities and entertainment every matchday in their own area of Final Whistle in the Holland & Barrett Stand. For more information, including how you can join for FREE and how a young supporter can win the chance to run on to the Tigers pitch as a Tiger Cub or a matchday mascot, click here.
