Director of rugby Philippe Saint Andre has included England World Cup duo Andrew Sheridan and Mark Cueto in his 22, though replacement Cueto faces a fitness test on a calf injury. New Zealand centre Luke McAlister continues alongside Lee Thomas in midfield.
Saint Andre said: " This is a big game for us, in front of a full house at Edgeley Park. We have been playing well over the past few weeks but Leicester is always a huge game and our biggest test so far this season."
Kick off is at 2.45pm but due to anticipated traffic levels, Sharks suggest supporters arrive early to enjoy the pre-match atmosphere.
The supporters' marquee will be open from noon, serving chilli, with a vegetarian option available. Drink offers will be available at £3 pint, £5 for a 2-pinter and £10 for a 4-pint jug. Entry to the marquee is free to all supporters.
Christmas carols will be sung by the Sylvian Singers Choir from 1pm and opera singer Martin Toal will entertain the crowd in the stadium before the game and at half-time.
For Tigers supporters who are not making the trip, live coverage will be shown on a big screen in the Tiger Bar at Welford Road, opening at 1.30pm.
