Schoolchildren from Rutland will take to the Welford Road pitch for the area final of the Santander Alliance & Leicester Tag tournament.
Children from Brooke Hill Primary School in Oakham, Hallaton CofE Primary School, Leighfield Primary School in Uppingham and St Nicholas CofE Primary School in Cottesmore are looking forward to playing in front of a large crowd before Leicester Tigers play Leeds Carnegie in the Guinness Premiership.
Tigers coaches spent three weeks in Rutland giving pupils an introduction to rugby through the Santander Alliance & Leicester Tag programme.
It ended with a festival at Oakham RFC from which the four schools qualified to play at Welford Road tomorrow. Now they are aiming to be crowned to be crowned Rutland’s Santander Alliance & Leicester Tag champions.
