With the school summer holidays just around the corner for many, Leicester Tigers are readying themselves for a summer of rugby camps across the Midlands. 

A chance for young rugby player to learn and develop their skills under the guidance of Leicester Tigers coaches, youngsters can book their place at one of five venues across the summer.

The club will be hosting core rugby camps (U9s +) and tag rugby camps (U7s-U8s) at

Brooksby Melton College
Stamford School
Lichfield RUFC
Market Harborough RUFC
Nottingham Trent College 

Throughout the summer age groups from current under-9s can take part in week long camps where coaches will look to build young players skills, understanding and technical abilities to prepare them all for a restart of games ready for next season.

As well as a multitude of cross over sport games and activities we will be working within RFU guidelines to build individuals tackle techniques and bodyshape at the breakdown to introduce and prepare young players for contact, before implementing learned experiences in game-based scenarios.

For under-7s and under-8s, players can take part in TAG Camps welcoming boys and girls to have fun, meet new friends and be active. 

TAG Rugby is a fantastic introduction to the focusing on playing the game, it also includes fitness, agility and the general etiquette of the game of rugby.

Working closely through Premiership Rugby with the RFU, the club has also taken measures to create a Covid safe environment that will follow the current government guidelines and Tigers best practice where the individuals safety will be our paramount concern.  

All participants will be asked to complete a daily Covid free self-health declaration daily.
