Season tickets update 2014/15

Figure image
As all supporters will be aware, the clubs and unions in European rugby are still working on proposals for the future shape of the game. We appreciate that this uncertainty presents its challenges to supporters as well as to the clubs and, while we work on a way forward, planning for the future of the business must continue as normal.

At this time of year, Leicester Tigers finalise details for season ticket sales and renewals for the forthcoming season.

Renewal details have been delivered to season ticket holders, allowing allow us continue to offer our 12-months interest-free Direct Debit scheme to spread the payments.

With the current debate on the future of the European tournament, we are sure you would like some clarification on the status of Tigers season tickets.

Season tickets include admission to 11 home games in the Aviva Premiership regular season, 3 home games in Europe, 2 home games in the LV= Cup and the pre-season friendly fixture.

Following a meeting of the Chairmen and Shareholders of Premiership Rugby last week, the English clubs unanimously re-confirmed their position that, having served notice in June 2012, they will not participate in any competitions run by ERC from 2014-15 season.

Proposals put forward to address a new structure within the proposed Rugby Champions Cup were agreed by a majority of the Unions in October, alongside competition formats and financial distribution. However, these have not been accepted by all.

The English clubs have worked exhaustively over the last 18 months to propose solutions to the issues in the current European competitions and to provide a sustainable platform to grow the game in the various countries.

English clubs are now pursuing a number of possible options which we believe will still include an attractive set of fixtures for you to follow Leicester Tigers at Welford Road.

We would like to reassure supporters that we are working hard to find a suitable solution. If, after any agreement is made, the number of fixtures included in your season ticket is affected, we will adjust your ticket price accordingly.

Also, as detailed in renewals notices, if you are already a season ticket holder, your place will remain reserved for you until June 4, 2014.

We will keep you informed as the situation progresses
