Lincoln RFC, Leicester Forest RFC and Loughborough Grammar School all host Leicester Tigers Rugby Camps during the school holidays this Easter.
There is something for every young player, girls and boys, from under-7s up to teenagers with the focus on skills development in a fun and physically active setting with professional coaches from the Tigers community team.
Camps are based at Lincoln and Loughborough next week (from April 11) and then at Leicester Forest from April 19.
There are further camps at Tamworth RFC and Wymondham RFC during the half-term and a full schedule for the summer.
Camps are split into four categories to provide the best possible experience throughout the age-groups:
Tag Rugby Camps provide a contact-free introduction to the game of rugby and encouragement to gain skills in the under-7 and under-8 groups, with games and enjoyable activities over three mornings to support the development of fundamental movement, rugby and social skills.
Core Camps are run over 4-5 full days for players in the under-9s to under-13s age-groups, following age-grade guidelines, with sessions based on fun activities, rugby skills and fundamental fitness.
Development Camps are based on sessions over three afternoons for the under-14, 15 and 16 age groups, with a sharper focus on tactical and technical skills alongside athletic development, all based on the themes of the Tigers Junior Academy and ACE college programmes.
Girls-Only Camps are suitable for all abilities within the under-13, 15 and 18 groups to develop skills, confidence and game awareness as part of the new women's and girls' rugby programme at Tigers.
Places are available to book online, by phoning the Tigers ticket office team on 0116 319 8888 (option 2) or in person at the stadium.
