Leicester Tigers have signed fly-half Jed Walsh.

The 19-year-old joins the club's Senior Academy squad from Australian Super Rugby side, NSW Waratahs, where he was a member of the Academy after graduating from the Gen Blue squad in 2021.

Born in Palm Beach, Florida (USA), the newest addition to Steve Borthwick's squad grew up in Australia on Sydney's northern beaches and is the younger brother of Exeter Chiefs fly-half Jack Walsh.

He played his junior rugby for Manly Marlins - the former club of current Tigers player Nemani Nadolo and former Leicester player Sir Clive Woodward - before rising through the ranks of the Shute Shield club.

Walsh, who is English qualified, joins the club effective immediately.
