Leicester Tigers will run out for their first rugby action of the summer Singha Premiership 7s on Saturday.Newcastle Falcons are the hosts, as they join Tigers, Sale Sharks and Worcester Warriors in competing for a place in the finals at the Twickenham Stoop on August 28.
Premiership Sevens finalists in 2013, Tigers reached finals evening again last season, winning the Plate after a 17-0 win over London Irish with a team captained by scrum-half George Tresidder.
On Newcastle's 3G pitch, organisers are expecting an evening of exciting rugby with the added incentive for the players to impress in this year's event with Sevens rugby being part of the Olympic Games for the first time next summer in Rio.
